Argh im like damn sway today lar. was late for the maths tutorial, my friend and i couldnt find the room, and it was raining heavily. then during my lab, i got a lousy sucker for my titration. like no matter how i press the thing, the solution either wont come up or there's bubbles stuck inside. damn irritated. so i kept changing the sucker, still cannot work. *faint*, so i ended up borrowing my neightbour's pipette. the worse part was, i left my wallet on the bench and only realised that my wallet was missing when i was walking home. gosh i quickly ran home and dumped my stuff, dashed down and hopped onto a cab. luckily someone kept it for me, even the lab officer emailed me about it. so malu.

Just got home. bad news again. im feeling very depressed now. all i know is, i dont feel like continuing with school anymore.

My right eyelid is still twitching, since monday already and it's getting more and more frequent. maybe it's some illness. haiz.

This is driving me CRAZY! my right eyelid has been twitching for more than 24 hours already!

From wiki,
In Chinese folk culture, it is commonly believed blepharospasm foreshadows something significantly bad. A saying is that a twitch on the left eye means you will lose money, while those on the right eye meaning some life-at-risk disasters are at hand.

I am very worried now. :'(

12:47 AM
My right eyelid has been twitching ever since this morning, been like that for many hours already. got really distracted during lectures as a result. dont tell me something really really bad is going to happen. :S

Haiz very sian, it's only a week and im already sick of this mundane uni life. like im suppose to read up my quantum physics notes cos the modern chem module teaches a lot of quantum stuff. but i dont have the mood, i spent my entire afternoon sleeping away, going to the library and reading the shopaholic series. hahs. maybe i will do it later lar. haiz.

My expenses for this week are exorbitant. like i nearly blew off 100 bucks, chem textbook, IT1003 textbook, labcoat, goggles etc. Had the IT1003 and the GEK1001 on thurs and fri. ran off halfway during the IT lecture cos me and my friend wanted to get the diary. hahs, have yet to view the webcast on the parts that i have missed. talking about webcasts. i realise that 2 of my modules have webcast. yeah! for the geo module, it's quite an interesting module, i think the lecturer is a metrosexual, lol. oh btw, i can finally see saturn, the other time he showed us this magic eye image (www.magiceye.com), i manage to find that image that he showed us. actually it's quite easy to see, once you know the right viewing technique, the picture will pop out from the surface like a 3D image, so amazing! yeah i got magic eye!

Gosh, i dont feel like going to sch tml, 3 lectures in a row. somehow my mind will start to wander off during lectures, like i will start thinking of other stuff. haiz. anyhows hopefully i can get the tutorial time slots that i have balloted, if not, my timetable will be damn screwed. :(

I dunoe, im feeling very very lost. i think im beginning to sink into a depressed state, whenever i think about my personal stuff. I think about it everyday, like during lectures, when im walking home from the mrt, when im alone, or before i fall asleep. the waiting part is so agonising. i really hope there will be a miracle, somehow, but it seems really bleak.

Luckily i dont have to go to school today, if not i would freezing inside the LTs cos it was raining heavily in the afternoon. slept until 12 plus today cos i was so tired.

I was so screwed yest. first i overslept and was late for my first lecture. lol! actually my lecture started at 10am and was supposed to meet fongyu at 8.20am (but i woke up at about 8.10am instead) cos we wanted to get the maths notes and ballot for the practicals and tutorials sessions when the registration starts promptly at 9. we went to the central library to use the computers there, i dunoe why but after i booked my computer booth, somehow any person managed to register with my computer even though i have already booked it. was so pissed, i dunoe how did it happened, something wrong with the system i think, and i ended up letting the person have the computer that i have booked. :( after which i shared the computer with fongyu but after she balloted, she couldnt log out of the system, gosh i was so kan chiong cos i scared the slots that i wanted will be taken up, so i went to re-queue again for fongyu's computer using my name. argh, not a very good start. so.. we ended up being late for our first lecture cos we spent quite some time figuring out how to print out the confirmation slips, and the worse is, we missed our bus. ahhhh.

All the lectures are soooo boring. esp for the 2 chem modules, i think it's more like quantum physics. one of my chem lecturer is an angmoh and he speaks quite fast. :X then for the maths lecture, the lecturer talks so soft lar, even though he's using a speaker. i can hardly catch what he's talking about. i hope he will on his speaker louder the next time, if not we will have to move to the front seats.

Haiz i dont like to go to school, i kept thinking of going home throughout the lectures. i think the only part i like about school is when the lecturers said class dismissed. ah i hate school. boos. :(

Haiz im so not looking forward to sch tml. :( feeling quite scared and worried. my brain is damn rusty after not studying for 8 months plus. even though i know quite a number of people in science, but most of them are just hi-bye friends. anyhows, hopefully i can get the tutorials and labs slot that i want, if not my timetable will be damn screwed.

Sian, i just want to slack at home, idling around, doing my own stuff. how am i going to concentrate on my studies when there's dreadful stuff bothering me? :(

So frustrated lar! my laptop is damn laaaaaaaaaaag, it's like it took forever to wait for a website to load. somemore i didnt open a lot of windows, like 3 only. after waiting for like 10 mins while playing solitaire, i decided to off my laptop and switched to my home pc instead. so much faster and i can open loads of windows at one time. my home pc is 6 years old and still going strong (i hope). i would opt for my home pc anytime. hmph, lao ya laptop.

Yeah i got all my modules, GEK1001 and IT1003. log on at 11pm when the results are announced. was quite worried for the geo module cos the demand exceeds supply and the highest bid was like 1000 plus. :X luckily i managed to get the module. heh, quite exciting. i think that geo module sounds interesting, so is the IT module, actually until now, i still dunoe what's the title for that IT module, i think it's called informations system applications, or something along those lines? for the geo module, we have practicals, and even field trips. hmm, i wonder what are we going to do for the practicals? maybe build a mini volcano and make it explode? lol. the modules' description sounds interesting, but then again, the descriptions can be misleading. :X

I am so not looking forward to next mon. happened to look at the maths notes yesterday, and it was really... scary. so chim. im quite worried i will be too overwhelmed by uni's life.

Happy Birthday Singapore!

Argh school's starting and i dread it.

Monday, August 07, 2006 12:54 PM
The end of the beginning or the beginning of the end?

Saturday, August 05, 2006 12:22 AM
Yeah! i got my MA1421 maths modules lar! i went back to nus with fongyu today cos we wanted to bid together and we have lots of stuff to clarify. like i sent zillions of emails and called them but the extension is either not available or the numbers dont exist. oh ya we saw jasmine tye from singapore idol at the chem department office. lol. at first we were standing outside the glass door then i noticed someone who looked like her. but actually it's in fact her lar. she was with her friends and she wanted to postpone her studies instead of deferring it. guess she's doing chem too, cos she went to the chem department, i mean, it's quite obvious. heh.

Back to bidding. damn funny cos there's this idiot who threw in 500 points just for a maths module. like we have 600 points in our programme account then the person bidded 500, super bo liao lar. but nvm, i managed to get that module in the end. yeah!

After which i went to get my laptop, a fujitsu one. initally wanted to get the tablet but the screen was too small and it was quite heavy. anw there's so many people today that i have to come back 2 hours later for my payment. so i ended up getting home in the evening, and as a result, my laptop is still charging. i will have to wait until at least 2am before i can switch it off. tml i shall do the installation stuff like that.

So hopefully i dont need to go to sch anytime again next week, i really want to spend my last remaining week of holiday at home, if not there wont be any chance to laze around when sch starts, moreover, i have issues lar.

Thursday, August 03, 2006 1:58 AM
Super sian!! it's 2am now. me and fongyu is still online, discussing about our modules stuff. the whole process sucks big time.

Got matriculated yesterday. it wasnt fun at all cos we have to wait for our allocated timetable and we cant just barge in to view the laptop exhibitions. once i got in, i recieved my matri card, and after which i proceed to view the exhibitions. i think the people there were very hiong, they shove pieces of brochures into your face, and somemore i was carrying this nus bag and the 10 bucks matri package, which was so damn heavy. my hands got so sored from carrying those stuff. second floor was the cca exhibitions, initially me and my friends wanted to go, but 2 of us havent matriculated, so the person wont let us in. she's damn dao lar. my friend was super funny, she's so persistent and kept pleading with her to let us in, and she gave some really lame excuses. lol. but that woman replied with a flat no. damn inflexible. whatever. as for the cca exhibition, i managed to get in a few hours later after i got matriculated, there's a wide range of ccas, but i dont think im joining anything. i just want to chiong home immediately after lessons to do my own stuff. cca took up too much time, and i dont have much time left.
